An alternate universe inspired by the Dream SMP characters, Tales from the SMP, and the Enderwalker ARG.
Prince Technoblade and Commander Ranboo, head of the militia, find a new enemy that injured one of King Philza's crows. New technologies and weapons point to the forgotten kingdom, the Dreamlands, and send the royal family on a visit to find the intruder.

The loud echo of the gate opening could be heard from the Northern Wing of the castle to the Southern Wing. Technoblade looked at the positioning of the Sun. The gate wasn't supposed to be opening at this time of day.
"Dad!" Prince Tommy hollered at the top of his lungs. Technoblade placed a hand on the hilt of his sword. Tommy wasn't supposed to be back for another couple of hours. What does he think he's doing?
Techno took off in a light sprint towards the main gate. A mixture of anger and fear fueled his strides. His hand didn't leave the hilt of his sword as he rushed past a pair of guards. They turned their heads at the sight of the prince sprinting and attempted to follow behind him. Unable to keep pace, they gave up on pursuit and shouted ahead, "Blood for the blood god!"
Techno only ran faster. His pink braided hair whipped behind him and he quickly checked his healing supplies. Tommy shouldn't be in the castle. Why call for Phil?
Techno slid around the corridor with uncontrollable speed, and he almost lost his balance. Wilbur was already kneeling over Tommy and the black mass of feathers he held in his hands.
"Dad, come quick! It's one of your crows!" Tommy shouted again.

A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. When the game becomes reality (OLD WORK)
'It was dark outside by now, and Dream could hear the sounds of monsters roaming the surface. He shivered and grabbed his stone sword a little tighter. He's safe in here... nothing can hurt him... right? A too close for comfort zombie groan made him press more into the corner of his hideout. What he wouldn't give to be back home again, just recording with his friends and having fun in the streams they do together or have patches curl up against his side. He would prefer almost anything over the situation he's in right now. One wrong move and his life would be over. He hates it here. He just wants to go home. Please.' ---- Hey! I did something similar to this for a German story I published like two years ago, so I figured, why not do it in English too? So here goes nothing! This will be a long one! Also, I already want to apologize for not writing the characters 'realistic' enough at some points. I mainly watch Philza and Techno, so everyone else is a bit... unknown to me? Like of course I watch Tommy Videos or Dream Manhunt and all that, but that's about it. So if you feel like your favorite DSMP streamer isn't written very accurately, I'm very sorry, but I'm doing my best. Apart from that, have fun! This is a Royal AU, Techno is the eldest prince whilst Phil is the king. His brothers, Wilbur and Tommy had troubled Techno in his practices and training as he will be crowned king after his father. i hear footsteps behind me. i try to get up but struggle to because of the wound in my side. i shift my body to see Technoblade walking towards me. "Techno i'm fine, really." i say, frustrated. he doesn't respond, instead, he kneels beside me and looks at my wounds. he lifts up my shirt to show the stab wound on my side, blood spilling from it. "who did it?" he asks. "what-" "who stabbed you?" he asks, anger lingering in his voice. "why does it matter?" "just tell me." he asks, anger being replaced with eagerness. "Schlatt." i mumble. the pain in my side increases by the second. Technoblade looks up from me, to Schlatt, who holds a sword with my blood dripping off of it. Technoblade stands up from beside me, and approaches Schlatt, drawing his axe. "what's wrong Techno? i was doing you a favor. it's not like you even liked her in the first place." Schlatt said, smiling.
