Like the other in my position, trapped in an outside cage, in a new world, tossed out so freely that the only thing we want is to be back home, even if that place was a different type of hell.

Let's just say that survival takes a different road where we're heading, a place of unknown technology and unknown people.

After failing a mission, she is punished by being sent to the lowest-ranking Apocalypse Department-only to unexpectedly bind with a golden finger: the Apocalyptic Supermarket Management System. Si Yue: "Since this is supposed to be a punishment, I might as well enjoy it first~" Who hasn't dreamed of owning a supermarket when they were little? As the apocalypse rages on, zombies overrun the world, water sources are contaminated, farmland is destroyed, electricity is cut off, industries completely collapse, and the evolution of zombies far outpaces that of ability of superpowers. And the number of survivors dwindles day by day. Then, one day, at the end of a street in City B, a single streetlamp flickers to life-a light that never goes out. Beneath that warm yellow glow, the sign "Moonlight Supermarket" became the only hope in the hearts of all survivors. Starting with a mere 20-square-meter convenience store, Si Yue steadily expands, step by step. She has opened countless branches all over the world and is very popular. From drinks, grains, oils, fresh produce, snacks, dairy, cooked food, clothing, and furniture, to weapons, medicine, books, electronics, vehicles, farming tools, experimental equipment, and even crop seeds and saplings-she has everything. Her fanatical admirers promote it like this: "In her supermarket, you can buy anything-things you can imagine and even things you can't." ♡・*。 ・゜+. °。+ *'¨) .· '¸.·*'¨) ¸.·*¨) (¸.·' (¸.·'* ♡ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ✎ᝰ. Enjoy this story for free, available now for a limited time! The aliens kill every human they catch, or in rare cases, put trackers on them to discover their hidden villages. When Natalie is caught in an ambush, she is unexpectedly released. But there is no tracker. The Saursunes have an entirely different motive this time. *** Run. Don't look back. When Natalie is trapped in an alien ambush, she is unexpectedly released. The first human to ever be let go. The Saursunes invaded centuries ago, and everyone knows that getting caught is certain death. Natalie is confused but grateful to be alive. As a porter, one of the few humans with the rare ability to teleport between special crystal formations, she must leave the safety of her desert village every day to help gather food. When other villages increase their raids on the Saursunes' farms, the aliens retaliate by hunting down every human they can find - except Natalie's group. Instead of trying to kill her and those helping her, they bring them food instead. Is it a trap? Or something else? Natalie isn't sure, but one thing is certain: the Saursunes aren't done with her yet. ------------ Updates are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11-1pm MST.
