Arya, a Jedi Knight with radical views, is sent to clean up the mess of impulsive Padawan Rey. By a twist of fate, she captures Kylo Ren, but things don't go as planned as she gets to know the man behind the mask.
AU in which after the events of RotJ, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa established a new Jedi Order and Republic. Now, they are at war with the First Order led by Supreme Leader Snoke and a new order of Sith led by Palpatine's twin sons--Rey's uncles.

A Spark of Hope
One year after the events of The Last Jedi, the Resistance is almost extinct. Only a dozen Resistance fighters are left. They hide on a small planet, usually only known by smugglers, Numidian Prime. Rey has a lot of time to think, and slowly realizes, that Kylo is maybe more important to her than she thinks. So, she decides to open the Force bond once again. Kylo at the same time, is the Supreme Leader of the First Order. Despite the fact that a lot of people still fear him and the First Order, most inhabitants of the First Order planets are thankful for the maintenance of the Order, even though freedom is almost none-existent. A lot of Resistance fighters don't understand, why they are still fighting. To show them, that there is a reason to fight on, Leia sends Rey, Chewie, Finn and her old friend Lando Calrissian on a secret mission...Complete

Since the battle on Crait, the dark side of the Force has been stronger than ever in Kylo Ren. He is determined to take revenge-at any cost-on the Resistance, and above all, on Rey, who deceived him so completely. At the other end of the galaxy lives Sunja. She knows little of the Resistance or the First Order, and she has no idea that soon, she will become part of the conflict that is tearing the galaxy apart. Because of The Force Awakens, we know of the marriage between Han and Leia, which struggled, and eventually broke because of their son's rebellion. And we also know of how their son killed his father. But we know very little about Ben Solo's early life, before he was trained under Luke Skywalker, before he found the green crystal for his first lightsaber. Or even after that, before his obsession with his grandfather and Snoke's pull tugged him over into the dark side. And here it is.
