[AU] Martin is an angel who is tasked to bring happiness to the life of a lonely, widowed musician, Alan. While doing his best to help Alan reconnect with his young daughter and help him find love again, Martin makes unexpected friends, particularly with a tattooed ex-drug addict named Dave.

Dave is done with years of drug addiction and is doing his best to start afresh, pursuing the art career he's always dreamt of. When he gets a job designing an album cover for a quiet, moody musician named Alan, he does not expect to find himself falling head over heels - for a man!

After the death of his beloved wife, Alan buries himself in work and music, isolating himself from everyone including his young daughter. Thus, he's surprised to discover the gentle friendship of the mysterious Martin, and for some reason he finds himself becoming more intrigued with a smiling tattooed artist, Dave.

"Life is like a sketchbook. There's a beginning and an end. When you start, your drawings will start simple but become more detailed over time. Some are filled with color while some are black and white. Some were easy to create while others took more hard work. Some pages were bent and scribbled while others have been torn out completely, never to be seen again. Some people appreciate your art while others tend to criticize. Your sketchbook is your life. The question is.. What art will you create?" Jayda Joseph lives in a very strict household of Christians. She only pretends to be faithful to her religion, so her parents do not find out what really goes on in her life. Jayda wants to listen to her parents, but she cares about her freedom more which leads to a frightening mistake that completely changes her life. She meets a boy by the name of Charles. He is what brings her life to hell, and a new member to the family. Jayda learns the hard reality of what the true definition is of "consequences."
