After enduring the depths of depression, I can now say with conviction: "I am not a depressed person. I have depression-it's a disease, not a choice, and it does not define me." This shift in perspective has been transformative, enabling me to speak openly about my struggles and focus on recovery rather than feeling ashamed or attempting to conceal my pain. This book is a collection of stories that I can finally share now that I have emerged on the other side.
