Season 2:

New discoveries, new threats, new friends.
With the things that happen drive ShiverTooth back into his depression state. Hopefully Megatron or some bot can drive him out before he wants to end it all. It does for almost a split second before Megatron does something he will regret for the rest of the time he has with his precious seeker.

Season 3:

Despite Shockwave and ShiverTooth having a bond again after years of separation, ShiverTooth is learning about his autobot friends once more. With his pure spark fixed once more, he is a lot more into things and less ignorant and moody. But with great things comes great responsibility and great consequences. Since Starscream wanted his brother to be the con that he is, he will continue to try and drive him towards it. No matter what. He was Second In Command to the Decepticons and with Megatron's increasingly concerning behavior with Dark Energon. He's not sure if he wants to stay. When his Trine gives him a way out, he's remains undecided until Megatron destroys what little trust he had in the leader and Starscream follows behind his brothers straight to the Autobots. With the decline in his health, he's unsure if he can handle becoming an Autobot, or let alone handle the truth he's been hiding or the past friends he has to face. Nothing can prepare him though for the sudden life he created, unaware and the reason for his decline. Now with a sparkling in the mix, he has never felt so unsure about his future than he did now. TL;DR - Starscream ends up leaving the Decepticons with his brothers only to end up in Autobot care when his health suddenly declines. When he learns it's because of an unplanned sparkling.
