Gaia has been destroyed. The two camps have been united yet Nico di Angelo still had some trouble interracting with other people especially his new found friend Will Solace. How will this affect the both of them? Will their budding friendship be enoigh yo have a fresh start?

Nico di Angelo is finally happy. He's learning to accept himself for his sexuality and as a son of Hades. The boy he had a crush on since he was 11 years old. He's starting to realize that he isn't as useless as he thinks he is, and that he's actually worth something. Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it?
