Mean while I was gasping for the air, that dickhead had his usual cocky smirk. "with that I punched hard-on his lower abdomen while he was still holding his bleeding nose, I left the locker room with a sense of victory. ... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!

Noah moved to a new town just a few weeks before school starts back up again. He meets a few people on his bus and they end up best friends. One of them tells them about a party that they got invited to. They invite Noah and their other friend along. Noah gets sort of lost but finds his way to a corner. He hangs out there for a while until he feels someone bump into him. He's the one who says sorry and the other questions It. The question soon gets taken back. Someone calls the others name "Logan" Noah knew the boy was hot and he seemed nice, but he never got to ask him Anything. He snaps out of his thoughts when on of his friends show up. Noah asks them if they know anything about Logan and his friend responses with no but he's friends with someone who's friends with Logan. Soon the conversation turns into who can drink more. The next day Noah remembers that his friend said to leave notes in Logan's locker. And Noah does just that. After a while Logan needed to know who was leaving him the notes. He skipped class just to find out, but he got caught and sent to detention. Noah was also there for passing notes in class. Logan groaned an annoyance when he remembered Noah from the party. Then it hit him like a rock. The boy from the party was leaving the notes. The bell rang and before Logan could say anything Noah was gone. Now Noah's friends are gonna try and introduce him to Logan properly. How will it go?
