Shuichi Saihara, an amateur detective, was chosen to work on one of the most mysterious cases. Against all odds, he finally found evidence as to where the thief would go next; the Togami Manor, where he would get a chance to catch them. What happens when the thief just so happens to be a childhood friend..?

I am very much an amateur writer, and I hate writing out plots. I write mostly as a hobby, and to show love for series I enjoy. I try my best to edit but I cannot read for the life of me, so mind the grammar mistakes and spelling errors. I'll try to update every Sunday. If I don't post for a while it doesn't mean I abandoned the fanfic, I just get distracted incredibly easy and am probably writing another story.

Shuichi -when he is a kid- lives with his parents and his uncle in Japan before they had to move to America, where he left his only childhood friend, Kokichi. Years had passed, and ever since he had moved overseas, Kokichi had made some new friends: Maki and Himiko. Their first high school year only started for them, but the murderous group that was once in America named 'The Despairs' had travelled to Japan, and was followed them was none other than the young detectives Shuichi with his non-biological sibling Tsumugi. They both enrolled in the same high school as Kokichi and his friends and things happened. Now how will this go as Shuichi and Kokichi solve things out while Shuichi's on the road to getting the Despairs to justice? And how will he do that? ーーーーーーーーーー Since this story is about 4 HOURS (I know, it's crazy), I decided to make it into a separate book because anyone (I know you're one of them) would be completely annoyed that it's a long story with only one page ;-; The previous one (with short stories and fillers): "Some DRV3 Stories," will only be for short stories and fillers ONLY, and not with long stories like this one. ‼️All art used in this story will have credits to it's origins- i.e. where I found it Pregame universe; Shuichi Saihara is an upstanding kid with a defensive aura, he's well liked and keeps okay grades. He's usually well dressed and wears a hat 24/7, his silky blue-ish black hair hidden beneath it. He has a few admirers and is definitely more popular than Kokichi; A kid who keeps to himself. He has good grades because Atua forbid his parents find out he brought home anything less than an A, not that they'd be home much to see it. This is shown in his outward appearance, including slightly messy hair, usually a bandaid or two somewhere on his body to cover up a bruise or a gash made by unfriendly hands, and the traditional 2nd year school uniform as opposed to the 3rd, like Shuichi. Shuichi has a best friend named Rantaro Amami, a self-fulfilled prophecy of sorts. His dad was an unsightly character, beating on his mom constantly before being locked in jail. Rantaro is overly protective, inquisitive, and very.. Observant? He seems like an average kid to others, but if you get caught in one of his "stares"- Well.. You're not getting away from it. His light lime green hair is fluffy and well kept, and he wears a 3rd year uniform like his peers. He also has quite a few piercings- Most of which Shuichi was around for. Join these three as they battle with their emotions, questioning themselves every step of the way. Will they have a happy ending, Kokichi and Shuichi becoming Star-Crossed Lovers?
