After finishing her first year of high school, Vanessa tags along with her foster dad Joe to The Acres, a retreat center in Watertown US, to deal with the new Rabies variant that's becoming a global crisis due to the wide spread of Albino Anacondas. During her stay at the camp, Vanessa makes some new friends, gets tangled in new life or death situations, meets a mysterious stranger, and taps into a stronger power she never knew she was capable of. Teaser: The closest one to me is in Watertown. After a minute or two of showing the list, the camera flickered back to the lady and she began talking about how the U.S government will deal with this new virus. Losing interest in the topic, I switched the channel to DisneyPlus and put on one of my top favourite movies; Doctor Strange. I love how the editors behind the movie made the effects SO realistic. Twenty minutes into the movie, I got a text from my friend Rachel.Complete

AM13 Outbreak Shorts
The zombie apocalypse has arrived, the virus has been dubbed as AM13, and the human race is struggling to survive. Here are some short stories to accompany Lockdown, Forgotten, and Extinct (but they can be read as standalone)...delve in and enjoy life among the undead! Outbreak: No one has it worse than Rachael! First her parents make her move to a crappy new town, then Zac starts ignoring her, and just to top everything off...the rumours of a zombie apocalypse seem to have more truth to them than anyone could have imagined! Quarantine: Katie did not sign up for this when she went to medical school. She's now working as a nurse at one of the specialist medical facilities set up for the AM13 virus. She doesn't want the humdrum of dealing with sick, dying patients every day, she wants to be the hero who finds a cure! As the Lockdown starts, and more people with the virus are bought in, can she keep control of the situation? Crackdown: Oliver might have a slightly shady past, but he joined the police force to make the world a better place, how was he supposed to know the whole world was going to go to hell? Now, with zombies roaming the earth, he has to try and follow orders, whilst sticking to his (okay maybe newly found) morals and stop his old self from coming back. One Year On: It's a year into the apocalypse, how are our favourite characters surviving? **Linked to Lockdown, Forgotten, Exctinct, Not Dead Yet, and the rest of the AM13 Outbreak Series**Complete

The zombies are smart, too smart. They can learn to hide themselves. Some of them disguise themselves to look like normal people. We tell them apart by checking their eyes. Zombies have enlarged pupils compared to humans. No one knows why. 🏆 3rd place in The Flames Awards Sci-Fi category 🏆3rd place in The Slayer Book Awards 🏆3rd place in The Siren's Curse Awards @ScienceFiction added The Dead Walk Among Us to their Zombies reading list.Complete
