Fresh walked through the forest. Where was he? Who knew. All that mattered was getting out of there. He could hear the sounds of the night creep upon him, and he turned his walking into a run. He was defenseless ever since the gift of being emotionless had run out.
Fresh collapsed out of exhaustion. He couldn't run anymore. Everything hurt inside, how did people deal with this normally? He heard a noise come from the bushes around him, but he did not investigate. Instead, he stayed still and looked up.
It was easier to go out without a fight.
