"What are you doing Zayn?"
Zayn had been looking at Twitter for the past hour taking screenshots of tweets from fans and pictures of him and the boys. He was looking at a picture of him and Louis from the X factor days smiling wide and innocently. He stared at the picture for a couple minutes before responding. Then with a tired expression he met his cousins eyes.
"I just wanted to remember what it was like before the world started hating me," he whispered softly. Then he looked back at his phone and took a screenshot.
Or Zayn leaves One Direction and this is what it was like through his eyes.

But he was depressed. He would look in the mirror and all he would see was fat, globs of pale skin in all the wrong places. So the simple solution was to stop eating. But that didn’t work, Niall couldn’t not eat. Plan B went into effect then - throwing up. He had only been doing it for a few weeks when his brother found out, now he’s being sent to The Institute. Join the journey of Niall and Zayn learning how to feel again. Friends come along the way, a schizophrenic, mute and a multiple personality disorder patient. It's been five years since the year of hell, as Zayn would call it. Five years since Zayn and Liam were forced to live a year without each other, five years since Zayn was diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia and five years of Liam trying to recover from the mental and emotional abuse of being held hostage for ten months. You'd believe that after five years they'd be able to live a normal life, with Zayn receiving treatment and Liam having weekly sessions with a therapist, that they would be able to be happy and worry free as they wish they could be. Sadly, what they went through wasn't something someone can get over as quickly as one getting over the fact that they didn't get the last slice of pizza or that they no longer have ice cream in the freezer. They always say that your family will always love you no matter what. I think it's a lie. Sometimes life is a Lie. Everyone has been told "I hate you." From someone they love. For others it's a constant thing. All because of an accident. When they are hurting they can't accept the fact that it was their fault or no ones fault at all. They find someone to blame hoping that they won't blame themselves. They hold a grudge on that person for the rest of their life maybe. It's how family falls apart. That's how mine fell apart. Louis Tomlinson was trying his hardest to be strong. He was always depressed because of hate from the fans. Every night, he felt like angels were singing to him as he cried himself to sleep. His life was miserable and no one knew about it. That he was sad, he cried everyday...that his smiles, his laughs were nothing but fake. He held it in, unsure of what the outcome would be. His thoughts on his life often were: "What if I were to just not wake up today?" or "What if I wasn't here? Would the boys even miss me?" He knew it would never get better.
