After 13 years of trying to forget the man he was supposed to call his father, Spencer finds his phone riddled with messages from his father trying to catch up on "old times". He's met with criticism and shame when he reveals he has no want to talk to him. Everyone seems to think his father deserves a second chance.
Everyone except for him. Aaron Hotchner.
Logically it made no sense, Aaron had a kid of his own, would he not sympathize with his father for wanting to have a relationship with his son?
Spencer finds comfort in the older man, even more so now than ever. Everytime his phone buzzes with a notification from William Reid, Aaron is always there to comfort him and distract him from the burning hole in his back pocket.

I promise my writing gets better as the chapters go on, much love-S The BAU gets a new team member as everyone is introduced to Fiona Summers, and Spencer automatically falls for her. Not wanting to get hurt again he shuts her out, but warms up to her when he finds out they may not be too different after all. Half of him was propped up in the closet and he fell on me. The other half was down stairs. It's not consistent with the profile he wasn't posed like the others. This was for me. He wanted me to find him." You said to Emily. She nodded but looked at Hotch. "I think that you are right, Dani. Let's head back and the forensics team can handle this." He said, opening the door. You followed out to the SUV and got in the front seat. Emily stayed at the scene as other police cars pulled up. You shut the door and looked out the windshield. Hotch got in the seat and turned on the ignition. He started to drive and went right past the precinct. "You missed the turn." It wasn't a mistake, you knew that. "Hotch..." "I don't want you to go back there." He admitted. "Why? He's surrounded by fifty other people and he can't do anything." You looked down. "You feel threatened.
