Valerie was one of the original Avengers but was taken hostage by HYDRA after being saved by Tony Stark only a few years prior. Upon her return the group soon discovers she was brainwashed and her memory had been wiped. In hopes to return back to normal her only hope is to confide and trust Bucky Barnes. Previously the Winter Soldier, he was tortured and brainwashed just as she was, she was hopeful to find the solution to her problem. Having already returned back to normal life (sort of), Valerie is desperate for help to remember and free herself of everything HYDRA did to her. Though like most things, there's never a moment of peace before things go awry. [[~150,000 Words]]
