It's a wonder what the virus would have looked like from the start on an outsider's point of view; all the blood, all the pain, and all of the death was a lot to take in for a couple of scientists who tried to stop it all. Belle and Jay were trying to put an end to it before it could get out of hand but other people were just too naieve, the virus spread, and once it got out there was no going back.....or was there? Once found out, the mutants turn to their real form. They become beasts of legend. Serpants that dwell deep in the sea. Lizards that grow in size and take flight to the skies. Hounds that double or triple in size and spew the elements. And many more shapes, colors, and sizes. Once transformed the heart is shown involuntarily, simply dangling around the neck like a pendant.
