Hello! and welcome to something you will definitely regret reading! This is my first story ever so don't judge my crap writing skills, I'm only doing this because I'm bored. For Alex Fox, nothing in her life has ever seemed more mundane than the summer going into 11th grade. The days dragged by until on one seemingly uneventful Friday, when the girl that changed her life appeared. The loud and boisterous Garnet Rivers never really understood how everyone could just blend in so perfectly, she had always seemed out of place. So while everyone around her just nodded and went about their day when someone asked something of them, instead, she asked why she had to do it, why couldn't they? why did she have to be the one they trampled over? nodding and agreeing never even crossed her mind. Well, maybe it did, but not often. At least, that's what she seemed like, but things may be a bit more complicated. This is a story of two people, unlikely to meet under any other circumstances except a very odd day. Actually, odd is an understatement, maybe...well...words can't really sum it up, so you should just read the book. A book, A secret, And the will to live, Through thick and thin, Through anything anyone could and would ever though at you. And through betrayal.

My body began to curl itself into a ball and sounds of pain helplessly escaped from my throat. The startled animal sounds began to project from my body as it continued to go into shut down mode. It's like the walls have begun to collapse and all of the rubble is falling on top of me and only me. I can hear people screaming and shouting, but for some reason, I feel like I am the only one who can hear them. They are screaming for me to leave, to just run away. They are all so scared of this catastrophic earthquake. Because everything that they know is falling apart. - Book 1 in "Born to Die" series #236 in Teen Fiction
