Katsuki Bakugo is usually a crude, violent, arrogant, and aggressive person. But what Katsuki doesn't show to people is his soft side especially when he is around animals. Katsuki works at a local pet shop as one day when a new shipment comes in, Bakugo finds a small guppy in a tiny dirty tank. Feeling sorry for the creature, Katsuki decides to take it home. The guppy whom he names Deku isn't a normal guppy but, rather a very tiny merman. Deku falls for Katsuki to the point where he wishes to become human.
