Jewel walked and she ran away from her awful past. Hoping that she would forget everything that remained in it. Eventually it all came back, as we all know our pasts always manages to catch up with us. When the time comes we need to reface it.
When she first left she brought a lot of mental health problems with her that affected her whole new life, and while trying to fix the relationships she broke. She tries to overcome the trauma that built a wall between her and music.
