He already lost a brother, he's Not going to lose a nephew).

Bride for Hire by baihaoxue

Wei Xing had always been a wild card in the Wei family. Beautiful, bold, and always scheming, she found a lucrative niche in the underground world of brides for hire-a discreet service for women wanting to skip arranged marriages or buy time. Her older brother, Dr. Wei Wuxian, a respected pediatric specialist with no patience for his sister's antics, preferred to keep his life surgical, sterile, and scandal-free. That peace shattered on a spring morning when Wei Xing overbooked herself-three weddings, one day, all non-negotiable. And one of them? A prestigious, high-profile engagement to none other than Lan Wangji-a stoic, impossibly upright man from the revered Lan clan. Panicked, Wei Xing begged her brother to fill in just once. "You just have to show up, act distant, and leave," she promised. "He's expecting a runaway anyway." Against all better judgment-and several glasses of wine-Wei Wuxian agreed. After all, no one ever followed through on fake weddings... right? Wrong. Lan Wangji was not the one who hired Wei Xing. His fiancée had orchestrated the swap in a desperate bid for freedom. But Lan Wangji, a man of honor forged in ritual and principle, believed in commitment, not convenience. When the ceremony ended and Wei Wuxian awkwardly removed the bridal veil, expecting chaos, he was instead met with a calm nod. "I said my vows," Lan Wangji said. "I meant them. So did you." "I didn't-" Wei Wuxian stammered. "I was pretending!" "You said them. I heard. I accepted." Now, Wei Wuxian-a no-nonsense doctor with a sarcastic streak-finds himself the accidental spouse of the most rigid man in Gusu. As Wei Xing flees town to avoid lawsuits and angry clients, Wei Wuxian is pulled into the serene, rule-bound world of the Lans, where loud laughter is forbidden, touching after midnight is discouraged, and lying is a punishable offense.
Wei Wuxian, The Hateful by Chartez

Vengeful Spirit!Wei Wuxian AU. Put simply, if you all remember the time Wei Wuxian and Wen Ning were on the way to Yanli and Zixuan's marriage, he was shot down by several Jin's, going against given orders. Wen Ning went into a rage, killing most of the Jin's BUT Zixuan lived after Wen Ning heard the spluttering of Wei Ying, Zixuan followed him too. Wei Ying was killed, but no funeral was held, except the Wens, but they weren't allowed to bury his body as it was taken and burned; hence almost everyone, including Lan Wangji, forgot about him. The remaining Wens were killed, except Wen Yuan - who'll come in later -, Wangji found a new lover, Jiang Cheng continued his Sect Leader duties. The only ones to remember are Jiang Yanli, Jin Zixuan, Wen Yuan, and surprisingly, Lan Xichen, who is rather disappointed in his younger brother, and Lan Qiren who, despite not having the greatest relationship with Wei Wuxian, had a small amount of appreciation for staying with his nephew and his expansive knowledge. He will not, however, admit to even slightly missing the boy when asked by the older nephew. During what seems like a relatively normal day, objects go flying around and cryptic messages appear in an unidentifiable crimson liquid, scrawled and messy. How will those who forgot react, let alone those who remember? ----- Most interactions will take place through Inquiry. Fluff? Very little. A somewhat fatherly/brotherly bond between Wei Ying with Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen. Angst? Most Definitely.

Since Wangji grew up, he was taught to follow strict rules and follow them to a T. It was when he met the love of his life, Wei Ying, a flirty, and mischievous cultivator as well as head disciple of the Yunmeng Jiang Clan, that everything Lan Zhan had learned, started to be ignored little by little. Because of misunderstandings, war, and rumors, Lan Zhan had a hard time trying to get Wei Ying to sit for a moment and listen to him so he could explain. But it became too late. Due to the death of Jin Zixun and Jim Zixuan, everything in both Wei Ying's world and Lan Zhan's world came to a halt. Wei Ying was framed, and Lan Zhan figured it out once he spoke with Wen Ning before he was unjustifiably killed and burned to death with his sister. He tried to tell Wei Ying, but it was all interrupted when his Shijie entered the battle grounds. He tried to help but it was all in vain. Wei Ying had lost his will to live. Lan Zhan wished he could go back and fix everything. He wished to be beside Wei Ying and do what was right that he didn't do the first time. Until he died of a broken heart and woke in the Heaven Realm. He met a goddess that could help him go back and try to change Fate. Will he make things right and finally tell Wei Ying how he truly feels? Will he be able to help him this time around?
