Celia Miriam Valencia radiated warmth. She always had and probably always will. Loyal, kindhearted, and intelligent, the girl was Hogwarts's beloved Hufflepuff princess.

Liked by all but friends with few due to her veela heritage, that is until she befriended a group of girls in scarlet striped ties at the end of her first year and was instantly dubbed an honorary Gryffindor. Despite her friendship with Lily, Marlene, Dorcas, and Mary, she hadn't had a proper conversation with the school's official gang of troublemakers who always seemed to be around her. It wasn't until after the winter holidays of her second year, after comforting a disheveled Potter, did she befriend them. Ever since then she has been the marauders' "emotional support puff".

Now entering her sixth year something feels different. The dynamics of her friend group seemed to have shifted. While she had always been closest to James Potter something begins to draw her towards a certain scar-covered marauder.

Maybe it's her caring nature matched with his tired eyes or maybe it's something completely different. Either way, she can't help but suddenly find herself looking for the boy from across the great hall.

Little does she know he's found himself looking for her as well.
Remus John Lupin had gotten quite used to the presence of the joyful veela that James befriended during their second year. She had been a nice addition to the group, always ready to give out a hug or an "I'm proud of you" when needed. Celia was like a comforting blanket that they all so desperately needed at times. So when he felt his breath hitch when seeing her enter the prefect compartment he was taken aback. He had been around her for the past three years so why did he suddenly feel a magnetic pull towards the Hufflepuff princess?
