After the sudden death of her parents, Cassandra has no choice but to go back to her dad's home town to live with her grandfather.

She is determined to start a new life in Middleton, a normal life, but normal is far from what she gets. Starting at a new school with new friends and teachers is hard enough but what happens when she finds out that her parents were not who she thought they were?
