I loathe those drops. Every time I hear them, the memories I've buried so deep claw their way back. It's why I despise myself so utterly, why the hatred flows from my very own name. No matter how hard I try to change, the past drags me back, relentless and unforgiving. Minsan naiisip ko... can I really be free? Or will I always be a prisoner of who I used to be?

UAAP FF 4 Something about the rain has always awed Arya Aevangeline Santos. She loved to hear its soft patter on rooftops, loved the feel of raindrops on her skin and most of all, she loved the memories that came along with it. Halos lahat ng mahahalagang pangyayari sa kanyang buhay ay naka-ugnay sa ulan. She was born, when it was raining. Umulan rin nang unang araw niya sa paaralan and even the day she graduated. Nasanay na siyang makita ang ulan bilang isa sa mga senyales na may mahalagang mangyayari. Coming from the middle of a middle-class family, wala na siyang oras para sa ibang bagay kundi pag-aaral at pagtatrabaho. At least that's what she thinks. When the rain has brought her nothing but misfortune in the recent years, handa ba siyang tanggapin ang tila nanunuyong swerte na bigay nito? In this case though, it wasn't an event. It was a person.
