When he falls deeply in love with the school's literal demon. Gerard Way. Even though he acts tough and strong on the outside, he has a medical problem that could possibly kill him. No one knows except his divorced mother and his brother. So when he spills his heart out to Frank, he just hopes that he'll take it the right way.

Frank Iero is an ambitious medical student who is doing a work trial at the same mental institute. He believes that everyone deserves a second chance because everyone is capable of changing. He is smart, and caring and isn't afraid to stand up for himself, which is a strong contrast to the other caretakers and doctors at the institute. Frank's boss, Dr. Parker, assigns Frank to provide help for Gerard. They are both opposites in many ways, but will that stop Frank from gaining Gerard's trust and seeing his true self?
