She woke up in a mental asylum, with no memory of who she was, or how she got there. All she knows is that the place is dangerous, and she needs to survive, or escape. Her only consistent form of help is a small voice that rings in her mind. Is she going to survive in this place? Or will its monsters get the best of her?

Until she turned four years old, from then every night she'd be visited by a monster named the nightcrawler. It would physically hurt her and nobody else would ever see it but her. The tall rag doll looking monster with sewn shut eyes and the widest smile breaking into various people's houses, killing their pets, stealing etc. She was thrown into a crazy hospital where she met new friends and enemies. Many secrets about her monster is uncovered and this might be the start to a problem a lot larger than Iris had thought.
