Kylei is looking for a way out of the apocalypse. She is totally alone and is wants to find someone or something to help here along the way. Daryl Dixon is that someone, he is broken, but is soon a hero to this girl that he just saved. Kylei finds an attraction to Daryl and he does soon after. Daryl has lost a lot and so has Kylei will either of them be able to let the other one in? If they can will their relationship last through the apocalypse.

Daryl Dixon has faced a lot since the world changed and this has resulted in even greater change in his own life. Once a reckless and volatile man, he has now become a respected and productive member of Alexandria. Most importantly, he has become a loved member of a family drawn together by hardship.
