Both 18 and having been born on the same day, they were raised as twins, Luna adopting Lara's surname because of her own being unknown. Not only there, but in almost every place in the world, human beings are branded with a number, that being the amount of supernatural abilities they possess. From that moment on, they belong to the government, and must train in government facilities that are a lot like prisons or army bases. Their eyes are changed by machines, and they are identified for the bright aura-like color that surrounds their pupils and contrasts against their natural eye color, "the sunflower effect". The day of the chosen has come, and Luna Valkyrie is a seven. When she is taken by government guards, she believes her life is over.
