Today was finally the day. Eleanor Howell was moving halfway across the country to her uncle's in Louisiana. Having spent the first fifteen years of her life in Ohio then suddenly being sent away was something Eleanor never expected, especially with no explanation.
Disclaimer: This story is very very very very very very loosely based on the novel Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. Eleanor is only fifteen, she's a child. Percy is twenty-one, he's an adult. The romantic relationship in this story was normal for the time period. As always, I only own my character and my story.
