Greya Matthews has already endured a lifetime of loss and challenges. Her grades and her soccer skills can take her to any college she wants to go to after she graduates high school this year. But, there is something holding her back... her younger brother and grandmother...the only family she has left.

After her parent's deaths, she's had to grow up quickly, taking on the responsibilities of raising her little brother and helping her grandmother. She's put her own dreams and wants aside for so long now, that she has lost sight of what it feels like to put herself first. That is until she finds herself spending more time with Becker Reeves.

Becker Reeves is the school's "golden boy", according to most of the student body. He's the type of guy every gal drools over, every girl except Greya that is...she's the only girl who senses there's something off about him, and that scares him. Letting her in would be letting her in on his secrets. He's captivated though, by her very essence, and it's hard for him to stay away.

But things happen in life...an accident, a loss, even an opportunity, that changes a person in a way that they can never go back to the way they once were. A twist of fate that forces the two of them to face a reality that will either strengthen or destroy them.
