Following a botched robbery attempt in the town of Blackwater, the van der Linde gang now took shelter from the harsh, unforgiving elements in an old abandoned mining settlement known as Colter, deep in the snowy mountains. They are cold, hungry and unsure of what their futures hold. As Arthur Morgan is out desperately trying to track down game to bring back and feed to the starving gang he stumbles across an animal unlike any even he, in all of his travels, has ever seen before.
