Amelina Alarie is going into her fifth year at Hogwarts, alongside her two best friends, Blaise Zabini and Theodore Nott. They tend to keep to themselves, but this year they are forced to interact more with their fellow Slytherins, due to Professor Umbridge's extreme school restrictions throughout the year, along with growing isolation from other houses.
Follow Amelina as she navigates though being a normal teenager in an increasingly dangerous and serious wizarding world, as she faces growing up during a war she cannot escape from, no matter how hard she tries.

"The Half-Blood Daughter" Transferring in my fifth year. What a joke. Just when I thought life couldn't get more complicated, here I am at Hogwarts, home of the nosiest people on the planet. As the group of Slytherins sat down, Ginny noticed that Blaise was watching her, and when they made eye contact, he gave her a wink followed by a grin. Ginny felt her face heat up and she looked down at her desk, her brow furrowing. "Everything alright?" Hermione asked quietly. Ginny nodded silently and kept her eyes down, which only made Blaise chuckle from the other side of the classroom. "What's got you in a good mood?" Draco asked, raising an eyebrow at his friend. "Just having some fun," Blaise answered, shrugging. Draco rolled his eyes and looked over at the other side of the room where Blaise had been looking moments before. He noticed that the Weasley girl looked very embarrassed about something, and Hermione shot a look over to their area, catching his gaze. He held it for a few moments before nodding at her slightly. Her eyes widened in surprise but she nodded in return before looking away, focusing on the front of the classroom. He thought he saw her cheeks turn slightly more pink, but before he could get a good look Professor Flitwick stepped up onto his podium and the class quieted down. Hello lovelies! Hermione finds herself out of place after the war. Really out of place. ~The students of Hogwarts have returned for their Seventh Year that they were unable to attend, a year prior. Ron and Harry, getting ready to finish their Seventh Year and become Aurors, like they planned. After Hermione turns down Ron, for feeling wrong about being with him, she feels alone. Scared. Out of sorts. But she isn't the only one. Draco Malfoy sits at the other end of the Great Hall, by himself, surrounded by the other Slytherins, all avoiding him except for Theo Nott, Blaise Zabini, and Pansy Parkinson. The other death eaters. But Malfoy doesn't seem to notice, too busy staring into nothingness, with grief. Hermione cannot help but stare at the poor boy who everyone hates. Who she hates. But she doesn't feel that way when she's looking at him. All of a sudden she realizes his composure has broken, staring back at her.~ Will she invite in the enemy of her childhood? Will she see past it, as he is the only one who understands the pain she's enduring?
Lip Lock Jinx (dramione)
A new popular jinx has been created, which gives Ginny, Blaise, Pansy and Theo, a new idea for a prank on their weekly pranking day, which commences every Friday. The group try and get Hermione and Draco to join them, but it's always a no. They prank people as normal, and try the new jinx on the next person that walks by, which just so happens to be Draco Malfoy, engrossed in his book. When Draco is placed under this jinx, or more like a curse, in order to become free from it, he has to kiss the love of his life.
