I'm running. I'm sprinting through the cold, crisp fall night. Leaves are crunching beneath my feet, and I can feel the pain soaring up through my legs. Yet, none of this matters. Adrenaline is igniting the fire that is burning in my lungs, which keeps me going. Run. Run. Run. I no longer feel as if I'm running, I feel as if I am soaring in the sky, each breath I intake takes me higher, makes me stronger, lights the fire. I continue to sprint. But all of a sudden, I hear a voice in the complete darkness in which stops me clear in my tracks.
