The beginning of 2016,China suddenly claims South Sea China as his own.Many nation fought back especially Indonesia.To counter this,nation who's area claim by China created Joint Maritime Excersice with the best ship they have in South China Sea to watch China movement.
The member from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Phillipine, Vietnam and Singapore.The trend continue to year 2029.But that year quiet special because the magnetic storm suddenly appear and hit the harbour at Vietnam before the excersice begin.After that,some of the ship missing after the storm leaving handful of the fleet at the harbour.
Follow the journey of the fleet (or flotilla) in Azur Lane world.Can they return back to original world where no alien ship exist?

They pushed away humanity from the high seas. Humanity formed an alliance called Azur Lane. The alliance consisted of all the major countries that fought each other during the second world war. Azur Lane was able to repulse the Sirens and brought back peace in the planet. At this point all of the ship girls returned to their normal state. Some went back to the very waters where they were sunk. Others became ship museums. The ones turned into museums were considered the lucky ones. But not for Enterprise. Her scrapping is inevitable. The fight for her to be turned into a ship museum failed. And majority of her steel was used to build USS Enterprise (CVN-65). But somehow her ship girl form suddenly resurfaces in a time when a ninth ship bearing her name has been successfully built and launched. She will also meet her daughter who was made from majority of her steel. Once again the Sirens threatened humanity in the present time.
