(Not all parts are in order, I'm just posting as I finish. Please, please, please post feedback. All comments and suggestions are accepted.) Set in the not-so-distant future (2030-2050), a business mastermind and his private army attempt to gain control of the world as nations across the globe tear at each other's throats for resources and territory. By secretly supplying each bloc of nations with his weapons and technology, he is able to pit each faction against each other until he comes out on top. However, a group of US Special Forces operatives stumble upon his corrupt business, and fight an uphill battle to bring an end to the Third World War. Whether or not they survive, is up to their ability and wit as they are pitted against one of the most brutal and efficient assassins in the world, alongside an army of machines and men.

A trilogy of military hard SciFi short stories, each of which stands on its own but is linked to the earlier parts. Part 1 is my attempt at writing what a battle in space might really be like. Part 2 is - well, as a student of military history, I was struck by how some things in the military life have seemed to be constant over the centuries. Part 3 is the result of trying to imagine what an infantry fire-fight might be like in the 22nd century or beyond. How does technology play into it?
