When We Were Young...

Maddi Ann had made a promise ten years ago with her first love. She's forgotten his name and what he looks like but she remembers the words they exchanged. In order to remember their promise Maddi Ann had given the boy a locket and she had a key, and the day they saw each other again they would open the locket. She regrets not letting go of the key, the boy must have forgotten by now. He hasn't. He holds the locket close to his heart, and doesn't forget their promise either. Things become difficult at school for Maddi Ann, a boy moves to town but he's loud and obnoxious. Lucky Maddi has to pretend to be his girlfriend because if you didn't know he's a famous pop-star, Maddi's and Jake's families are close so it's perfect. Not really. One day while Maddi's out with Jake she spots a boy her age with the golden locket from her memories. With this image of the boy in her head she becomes fully convinced that was the boy she made the promise with. That he may be her first and only love.
