A Harbinger's Bucket List [ZhongChi/TartaLi] de xTeaAndSconesx

Childe is returning to Liyue and Zhongli has something important to ask him. However, when a rather cheerful, but very much dead Childe shows up in Zhongli's living room, plans have to be placed aside. When the pair turn to Hu Tao for advice, she suggests that in order for Childe to pass onto the next realm, he must first let go of all unfinished business tying him to the mortal realm. Of course, this is easier said than done when a stubborn Harbinger insists he is perfectly at peace with the life he has led. And so Zhongli and Childe find themselves on a journey across Childe's homeland to complete the Harbinger's Bucket List, and discover his final regret together.

This is why I have decided to take the liberty of creating my own fic (But I don't have a plot so instead I made oneshots even though I hate oneshots ). Liyue was... interesting, to say the least. Its harbor, to which Childe was set to on yet another glorious (utterly ridiculous) mission by Her Majesty, the Tsaritsa, was too hot, too crowded for Childe's liking. And yet, there was something about it that made him want to stay. Perhaps it was the way the breeze faintly smelled of the ocean and fish, the way Morepesok did, or maybe it was because Liyue Harbor was simply so alive. Or maybe, just maybe, it was because those amber eyes were far too enticing to leave behind, even if they were the eyes of his enemy.

For Childe, the only thing more difficult than completing a mission in a nation where he's hated, is completing a mission in a nation where he's being threatened with imminent deportation. Out of alternatives and with failure not an option, the only way he can hope to remain in Liyue is by entering a relationship with one of its' residents. He can think of only one person eccentric enough to go along with such a suggestion. Mithridatism, or the act of poisoning oneself in gradually increasing increments, is all in a day's work for a Fatui Harbinger. When Childe takes just a little more than he's supposed to, however, things don't go so well. But when he gets out of this, his immunity to the poisons will be stronger than ever, so it can't be that bad. And at least Zhongli's here to take care of him through it all.
