OLIVIA MURPHY needs a fresh start. With her father in prison for a crime he claims he didn't commit and everyone at her old station acting like she aided and abetted, Liv can think of nothing better than getting the hell out of Philadelphia, and Los Angeles is calling her name. She's paired with an LAPD legend, Sergeant Athena Grant, a no-nonsense field sergeant who has only ever had one partner before and isn't happy to gain a mouthy twenty-eight year old as her next. She's sure Athena hates her and will do anything to get her out of her hair, even setting her up with a vulnerable widower in her new husband's firefighting station.
