*THIS IS BEING REWRITTEN IN A SEPERATE BOOK*

A survival game the driver had driven themselves to. When Red roses appears on one, the people around them and themselves are targeted by the stormy weather. And Lyra was one of them.

Lyra and her friends were supposed to be on a road trip, when suddenly a landslide crashed into the bus they were on, causing the bus to topple and 2 deaths. When they realised no one would come for them, they try to survive the artificial storm, which just so happens to also be the nature around them too

As they used to say.
The storm is always unavoidable.

-Old Description-
Lost and stuck in the deep woods, 18-year-old Sophie and her 8 friends try to find their way out of the woods after their road trip bus drives off the cliff of the hill. With 5 already dead, including the bus driver, their teacher and 3 beloved friends, Sophie and her friends try to overcome obstacles they have never overcome before.
While risky to try and find the road, things take a turn when Sophie realises no one will come and save them until the end of the first month. However, red roses started to appear wherever they go.
Sophie and her friends' past repeats and they might not make it out...

[Complete. Wattys 2023 Winner] The Redding takes you if it knows your name. That's the rule that's kept Meg alive --- or awake, rather --- since the night the world went to hell. Nobody knows where the red stuff came from, but it acts like water, it's in the water, and it falls as rain every night. The people it captures drop like puppets with their strings cut. They're asleep, not dead, and you can wake them if you say their name again. But then they just try to kill you. Meg and the other survivors she's befriended think they've found a stable equilibrium, six weeks after the catastrophe began. Nicknames become real names, and Meg knows she's getting better at identifying safe houses. Her crush discovers that Morse code, like writing, is a safe way to say a Sleeper's name. It's the night after learning it that Meg wakes up just as the nightly rain is starting. Raindrops, as it turns out, can make dots and dashes, too. The Redding can talk. And it's telling her to run. ❖❖❖ Complete. Wattys 2023 Winner. Kendall has always lived a quiet life in a small town in Illinois with her family, friends, and boyfriend Jordan. Her life had been mostly happy other than when her best friend moved away when she was 10. It took her years to get over that loss. Then several years later, tragedy struck when her father passed away suddenly and Kendall was forced to move with her mom closer to Chicago where she could find a job to support the two of them. Little does Kendall know that she is in for the surprise of a lifetime. From the book.... As he catches up to me, he grabs my arm swings me around and with one swift movement he ushers me into a nearby empty classroom with the lights off. He cages me in against the wall. His close proximity is making me dizzy and my mind is thinking very dirty thoughts. Wait no. I can't think like that anymore. "Kendall." He says hungrily. "You are mine and only mine. You drive me wild and no one else can have you." He says as he attacks my lips. It feels so amazing I can't help but kiss him back. I run my hands through his beautiful hair and he groans into the kiss. Man I don't want this to ever end. I feel drunk on him. I don't think I can let him go. He stops suddenly to finish his thoughts. "No one can make you feel like this. Or kiss you here...." He says as he kisses down my neck. I moan and he smirks pulling his face impossibly close to mine. "..or touch you." He says as he takes his hand and brushes it lightly down my arm and he snakes it back around my back pulling me even closer if that is possible. He finally stops at my ass which he squeezes delightfully and I hum in response. Warning: Contains graphic sexual content. Read at your own discretion. You will not be warned ahead of time. The Blade and The Bird

16 parts Complete

She'd spent many years playing in this forest as a child. While Selene had enjoyed her novels in the warmth of the house, a blanket wrapped around her narrow shoulders, Sidra always came home covered in mud and scrapes from hours out in the wilderness. She'd take an axe out into the forest and pretend to fight off monsters, the terrifying Mystics that her grandmother had told her stories about. She'd pretend to fight Lycans, knocking out their massive teeth one by one. She'd stand atop rocks and throw her axe at the trees, pretending they were wood nymphs come to steal her away. She'd always return home and tell Selene about the monsters she'd fought that day, spinning together a story of courage and bravery for her little sister. She felt that pain in her heart again as she thought of those times. Through the years, she'd stop going into the woods to play, and she'd instead find stories for Selene. Books of all sizes and shapes, no matter the content, because it made her feel close to her sister just as she had before her parents died. She thought of her family now, how she was all alone. Her parents had been gone for years, her grandmother, and now even Selene was missing somewhere. She needed to find her sister, she couldn't lose the last bit of her family. **
