Smoke and whiskey. 

Now, some may have found those distinguishing smells absolutely disgusting, but I found it devilishly ravishing. 

A haze of untamed raggedy black curls swallowed up his delicate porcelain skin whole, wrapping around his head like a halo.

His tawny, golden eyes glimmered under the fluorescent tubes of light from the ceiling, turning to face me.
