The Wedding Ring by Tammy White

This story traces the strange and often stained relationship between a transvestite and her husband. Her husband, by Civil Marriage, appears to want more from life and leaves her after 10 years of marriage for a real woman. The story goes on to explore the lives of two people whose marriage just didn't work and how they find their way back to each other to discover that it was all too late through the image of her wedding ring. In this story explores the inertia of pain and loss and the ever-growing feeling of regret and 'what ifs'.
