16 year old Shawn Mendes was like any average highschool teen. Well almost. He always got picked on because he was openly gay and was really smart, so people considered him a nerd. 
Taylor Caniff was like any other cool guy in school. He had all kinds of girls hitting on him, which he found disgusting and agitating because, he too, was gay. He just wanted the girls to leave him alone.
