Hi there, I'm JD, a 31-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish Economist living in Barcelona with my Russian (pro-peace) wife Anna and our two kittens; we met in Italy eight years ago, and almost since then we have been working on this project. During our careers we've worked with people from South America to Japan, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to Norway, the characters in the novel are based on people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who left me with invaluable lessons which we feel the duty and privilege of sharing with our fellow humans, hopefully sharing what cosmologists call "Space Bias". There are seven main protagonists each one with their own chapter - which can be read in whichever order you prefer, - two of them in present tense and the rest in past, it's all part of the story. They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.Complete

The Madrigal's are a famed family that reside within Encanto. They were given a gift, a miracle, and that miracle is passed down through many generations. This left Abuela to raise 3 beautiful children and lead a village. When these three children turned five, it was their turn to receive the miracle. Each was given a magical gift that would aid them in serving the village. Pepa was given the ability to control the weather with her emotions, Julieta was given the power to heal through food, and Bruno was given the power to see into the future. But as kids do, they grew up. Each child grew into an adult and with some pressure from Abuela, they began looking for partners. Pepa married her childhood friend, Félix, and it was the beginning of Bruno's bad reputation. Julieta, on the other hand, married a clumsy man named Augustin. After their marriages, both women were pregnant soon. And Abuela was delighted to have more magical blessings on the way. Delores and Isabela were born first. The very first grandchildren to the Madrigal family. But between their birth and when they received their powers, Bruno's reputation continued to deteriorate. As did his relationship with his mother and sisters. He was becoming desperate. People in the town feared him. All he wanted was love. Then Bruno meets Valentina. They hit it off. Bruno is desperate. And his desperation results in an accident. Valentina becomes pregnant. Abuela is angry. They offer to get married but Abuela says the damage is done. Valentina gives birth to a baby girl she names Itzayana, after the moon. But Valentina never sees her daughter grow. Follow Itzayana as she navigates being a Madrigal and deals with the effects of her power. And maybe, just maybe, Itzayana finds someone special of her own.Complete

Women are resigned to the knowledge that if they are not married by the time they are twenty five that they never will be. They have limited choices once they are shelved. Martha chooses to go against the wishes of her family. She will spend the rest of her life taking care of her widowed Father as opposed to working and giving all her money to her younger female cousins to supplement their dowry. Fate and time has a different plan. Martha is drawn into a battle between The 19 and The Wild Roses. Two different factions each wanting to use and twist Martha for their own ambitions. Will Martha be able to bloom and change the world for the better or will she crushed? ....This story is a work in progress, it has themes and ideas that may change over time as the story develops and as I learn what you like and dislike about the novel.
