She was one of those girls. A figment of your imagination. Long sandy hair reaching to her waist, bright blue eyes, sun kissed skin...her personality just wasn't always there. All heads would turn as she stepped foot inside school. All conversations stopped at the moment one perfectly polished pink finger touched the class door. She was captain of the Gretchen High Cheer Squad.
Then there was me. Brown hair dipping just below my mid torso with blonde highlights that I've had since 7th grade and dull, brown eyes that would turn green when I cried. They were green a lot. I was into sports. I was often the one trying to keep quiet but
could snap at any moment. I was no match for Caroline McKibben.

Dear: Diary 02/04/2013 Then Kevin smiled at me. And I felt my heart beat for the first time in a very long time. All he did was smile, and suddenly this very dead heart of mine started beating very fast. The beating was so loud, I felt it ringing in my ears, and reverberating all over my body. His eyes bore into me, and I felt my cheeks heat up. Everything faded around me, I forgot that I was in class, and that there was a lecturer infront prattling on about Business Management.
