So, I watched The Maze Runner: The Death Cure last week - and I am so not okay with that ending! Newt should have survived! So I've taken matters into my own hands and re-wrote the ending. With Newtmas being eventually canon of course! or Where everything's the same except that Brenda, Minho and Gally arrive a minute earlier to save Newt's life and even make it out of the city with the perfect cure made from Thomas' blood. A few months after Thomas entered the maze Minho FINALLY let him become a runner. On the first day a boy named Lewis fainted from dehydration. All the runners made it to the glade safely except Minho and Thomas. They spent the night in the maze. The next morning Thomas discovers he can't hear a thing anymore. Thomas doesn't know how to tell everyone and he doesn't want the runners to know. Especially Minho who might kick him off being a runner.
