Isla Austen is just one of many young, ambitious, optimistic and hopeful college students who move to New York to find themselves and become their own person.
Bucky Barnes is a scarred broken man who is haunted by the demons of his past, wishing nothing but to make peace with himself again and find his place in the world.
Now what if the girl who's full of light and dreams meets the hurt man who's filled with darkness and nightmares?

Worse than Strangers | Bucky Barnes Rom-Com
Now they were as strangers; worse than strangers, for they could never become acquainted.* Bennett Mattey first saw him seven years ago in Romania when she lived abroad. The frowning man in a cap always stood out to her when she saw him every Tuesday. Once he disappeared, she all-but-forgot about him. But when she sees him in Brooklynn by chance, she begins to question who the mysterious, gloved man is. It's especially hard when it seems her roommate also has a thing for him and he doesn't seem to remember her the way she remembers him. Bucky Barnes x OC. Pre/during Falcon and the Winter Soldier. A modern comedic spin on Jane Austen's Persuasion as well as it being a Bucky Barnes fanfiction. I wanted to see what would happen when there is just a normal person in his life, and what they would observe as Bucky is healing. *Quote from Jane Austen's Persuasion.

Heartbreak made me reckless. Loving him made me whole. When Steve Rogers broke my heart, I wasn't sure I'd ever recover. He was my everything, until he wasn't. So I pieced myself back together the only way I knew how. With anger. With mistakes. With fire. And with someone I never expected-his best friend. James Barnes is complicated. Dangerous. Broken in his own ways. But he's the one who stayed. The one who chose me. This isn't a fairytale. It's messy. It's devastating. And it's real.Complete
Defenseless ( A Bucky Barnes x OC Story )
Rated as Mature. - One brooding super-soldier with a bad reputation. One lawyer up to her neck in superhero shenanigans. Zero chance of staying out of trouble. - Leona Gupta had a simple plan: avoid drama, ignore her annoyingly persistent ex, and manage the Avengers' reputation before it implodes the whole city. Unfortunately, Bucky Barnes didn't get the memo. Between awkward run-ins, accidental flirting, and late-night motorcycle rides, Leona's carefully curated life is starting to unravel all because of Bucky Barnes and his stupidly attractive smirk. Her past is knocking, secrets are bubbling up, and somehow, she's in a fake relationship with Bucky Barnes of all people. Who knew catching feelings could be more dangerous than catching bad guys? - Updates every Wednesday and Saturday!Complete![Heartbeats 💕[Sebastian Stan x female reader]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/317734599-256-k997946.jpg)
Heartbeats 💕[Sebastian Stan x female reader]
"For only a fraction of a second she felt that their hearts were beating in the same rhythm - the world around them seemed to be frozen again." She met Sebastian Stan at a birthday party. It was an innocent first meeting - nothing happened. But when they met again they started to ask themselves: Are they supposed to be friends - or more? A classical romance with ups and downs, a lot of fluff and enjoyable love, a little bit of smut and drama. But hopefully a happy end, right?
