Shravani Ramakrishnan has one rule for her life: absolutely no arranged marriage. Unfortunately, her family did not get the memo.

Her solution? Fake dating. Enter Harsha Seetaram, the happy-go-lucky charmer from Hyderabad who says yes before she is even finished asking. Suspiciously eager, but fine, he will do.

It is supposed to be foolproof. Pretend couple, happy family, problem solved. Except Harsha seems to enjoy the role a little too much, and Shravani is definitely not amused, or at least that is what she tells herself.

Her family is far from impressed. A city Teluguite in their Tamilian village lifestyle is not exactly what they had in mind. Keeping up appearances is already exhausting, and with her past lurking in the shadows, Shravani is not sure if she can control the situation or keep her secrets hidden.

Still, she thinks, maybe some risks are worth taking. Even if it is Harsha she might have to trust. And maybe, just maybe, she does not completely hate the idea.
