High schooler Jeremy Fitzgerald needs a job for the summer to save up for a new car. Unfortunately, the only job available is the night watchman for the newly rebuilt Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The pay's not that great, and there have been many bad rumors about the restaurant, but it's the best job he can find.
Once on the job, though, he discovers there's more than meets the eye about the family-friendly animatronic characters he needs to guard. With his only protection being an empty Freddy Fazbear head and a flashlight with limited battery life, Jeremy wonders if he can survive five nights at Freddy's.
