They lived a lovely life at Gracefield Orphanage, until they were 9 when Emma and Norman were adopted. However, they got into two very different situations. Norman was in an abusive family, while Emma lives a happy life. Ray is the son of the owner of the orphanage, and lives a balance of happiness and despair. After they turned nine, they go their separate ways. But by fate, they finally meet each other once again when they turned 15. Bringing along the friends of the past, they face the real world.
