A world destroyed by witches after a certain fate befell a girl with a shield taking away said shield and thus making it impossible to save the world as she was sealed in a mirror hidden in an undisclosed location,who did it?no one knows yet but one thing is known

Then out of nowhere Eldritch monsters appeared wreaking havoc and spreading curses and started going out to the wild world causing large casualties to appear everywhere

Many years later as all life had disappeared from earth and someone managed to survive

Edel was a child that was hidden away by the incubator as said child had something within them which could open a gateway for the salvation of the universe

However with all life forms gone only witches remained that had exterminated all of mankind and are roaming around and it is up to edel to travel through the new unforgiving world with the assistance of the incubator find the girl who may be the gateway itself for salvation to appear so she can help them to maybe restore the world to normal and find out who was the one behind it all
