Arlene Tomlinson is definitely not your average book-loving, sass-spouting young adult. She's an independent, insubordinate, intrepid individual who relies on her badass best friend, Iris, to pull her back down to earth with a solid thump when she starts floating away, clinging on to the flimsy string of her helium-inflated ego. She has never been really in to drama, but once her annoying (but lovable) little brother Louis drags his rowdy 'bros' into the relatively peaceful mix, things go upside down, get scrambled up and a confusing amount of testosterone and hormones start to fly around.
