DAISY BURKE has always been delicate like a daisy, ironic because her name is 'Daisy'. Her skin was a white as the petals of an actual daisy. Her hair was the color of fire, that when it blew in the wind, it glistened in the sunlight. Her eyes were a beautiful emerald green. She had a slim but slightly curvy body and a slim stalk of bones that weren't correctly right with her body. Daisy Burke was a fragile little human, being forced to be in and out of hospitals, a wheelchair she decorated herself with stickers, and a walker to use if she wasn't having a wheelchair day. Her body was frail, having been sick with Friedreich's Ataxia since she was five years old. But her sickness never stopped her from doing or trying to do anything. Although Daisy's life was total hell, she managed to maintain a positive attitude and bubbly personality. As her dad, Dr. Edward (Eddie) Burke, a scientist at Oscorp who is working for a cure for his Daisy, would say 'she is as delicate as a daisy'. Daisy hasn't been very good at figuring out her fate (she thought her fate was already made up for her), having already been bound to a life she didn't want. She didn't mind having her fate chosen for her as long as she could make some changes, she thought, what could go wrong? When tragedy strikes one of her fellow classmates, She is heartbroken (having always been a caring person and had loads of empathy), Daisy Burke would later realise that she has found her equal. That she found Peter Parker, a lanky boy full of not only life but heartbreak and carries a lot of responsibility. That once she has found her equal, she can finally live and punch a hole through the sky, (having wanted to since she listened to Queen's "Somebody to Love")
